Our team of talented and passionate individuals is the foundation of everything we do. Representing a variety of backgrounds and experiences, everyone is united by a shared commitment to excellence and hospitality.
Born and raised in Fairhaven, MA, Kathleen was first introduced to the restaurant industry at a young age. Knowing that this was her passion, she pursued an education at Antioch University of New England with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Proficient in Portuguese, and having learned the ins and outs of working in a kitchen and restaurant through her aunts restaurant, Kathleen decided to round out her hospitality experience with an Event Planning course.
Upon graduation, she was then given the opportunity to join the Sakura Bon Catering team, where she was responsible for directing all aspects of the event and guest relations.
Kathleen's strong knowledge and understanding of the hospitality industry makes her a perfect fit for the role of General Manager.

William J. Foley
"Catering is an art form that harnesses the host's personal touch, which the chef channels with their skill and effort."- William J. Foley, Owner and Visionary
Since the start of his career, William J. Foley has worked in all facets of the food service industry. Growing up in a small town, south of Boston, he got his first job as a server at a local Japanese restaurant named Tokyo. Under the tutelage of Executive Sushi Chef John Lee, he learned how to roll and present sushi.
While William was studying full-time in college, he worked in the restaurant industry to pay for his tuition. The work he did in restaurants in this period piqued his interest in becoming a professional chef and caterer.
William continued his education in the kitchen of Waterfront Grille in New Bedford, MA. Working side by side with Executive Chef and culinary mentor
Lisa DeRienso, he learned that not only must food please the palate, it also must please the eye. Charged by owner, Kevin Santos, with the task of raising Waterfront's sushi bar to the next level, William was awarded the title of Executive Sushi Chef and was given the opportunity to create and execute a menu for top chefs from Japan and the US.
In 2011, he started his catering career and created Sakura Bon Catering & Co. where he continues to spread his love of food. He currently is in the progress of opening a restaurant.
